86 Powerful Bible Verses About Camping & Nature for Fireside

Camping is spiritual. I know God is with me in every place, but somehow I can feel his presence more strongly in nature. Maybe it is the quiet or maybe it is the overwhelming evidence of a divine creator when surrounded by Earth’s magnificent beauty. This feeling to being drawn to his presence while sitting on a beach or hiking in the woods had me wondering if their were any Bible verses about camping or nature. Below is a list of some of the Bible verses my searches returned. (Note: All verses are quoted from the New International Version of the Holy Bible unless otherwise noted.)

Bible Verses About Nature

You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it. I plan to pick one of these verses about camping, nature, and creation per camping trip. The chosen verse will be the focus of a family fireside devotional. My hope is that this list will inspire you to jump into the Word of God and explore what he has to say about our earth. I will close with a poem written my grandmother, Janice Shirah in her book Our Merciful Father. This poem was inspired by Titus 3:5.
