Brazos River
During our Possum Kingdom trip, we drove an hour to Rochelle’s Canoe Rental on the Brazos river. We spent the day canoeing the river. The 10 mile row was tough at times, but a challenge that we were happy to take on and proud to accomplish. At the end of the trip, Rochelle’s drove us back to our truck parked at their place. Tip: Try this in the Spring with water is higher and more free flowing. We went in the summer and had to push ourselves out of some pretty tough rocky spots for amateurs.
We love float trips of any kind! We will have to check out the Brazos River sometime.

Yes! It was a bit too much, especially for the kids. If the water was higher and flowing faster would have been much better. This month would be a better time to go!
What a gorgeous spot! I would definitely come here, I’m an outdoor junkie haha!
